Scentsy Warmers

I was first introduced to Scentsy in November 2009. I had a basket party before Christmas for my friend and instantly fell in love with the product. It was really easy to sell to my husband since the candles were wick free, he hated every time I lit a wicked candle. I had a bad habit of leaving the house before blowing out the candles and this would solve that problem. I ened up getting a warmer for every room in the house and gifting them as presents. I decided to join in February 2010 when my son was 6 weeks old. At the time, I was serving part time and knew I would be going back soon having to leave my little boy. That summer, convention was in Denver and my sponsor who is also one of my best friends was coming out for it. She talked me into going and together we experienced our 1st Scentsy convention! We realized Scentsy was so much more than wax & warmers. I left convention setting new goals for myself -- my 1st one wanting to make enough money to make my car payment. I knew could do that having 1-2 parties a month which was a lot better than working 2-3 shifts a week at Chili's. Once I started setting goals for myself, it was becoming really easy to reach them. I was so excited to share the Scentsy experience with everyone, I even started growing my Scentsy team! 

In early August 2011, convention was in Ft. Worth, Texas. I was a Star consultant with 13 people on my team. My goal was to hit Director by December and have 50 people on my team. I really wanted my husband Philip to experience convention so I also bought him a ticket. Watching him have his "aha!" moment and having him see the potential Scentsy can offer our family, I knew my business was going to take off from that moment. At the end of August, only 3 weeks after convention, I had reached Director and had a team of 26. I ended 2011 with 62 people on my team and reached all my goals I had set for the year. My husband is my biggest support and a BIG part of my business! In April 2012, my amazing group hit another milestone – 100 MEMBERS!!

Thanks to Scentsy we have been able to travel more in 1 year than we have in 6. In January we went to Cancun, Mexico on the Scentsy Director's Leadership Retreat. That same month, I was able to go to South Carolina, North Carolina & Virginia for Scentsy’s Spring Sprint stops on the east coast. During that trip I was able to meet many of my team members that I had never met before. In June we went on our 1st FREE all exclusive paid vacation to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. We had the most amazing time, meeting Scentsy consultants from all over becoming instant friends. We’re getting ready to go to Las Vegas in July for the 2012 convention with 9 of my amazing group members. I will also get the opportunity to attend Director's Boot Camp at the Scentsy Main Office in Meridian, ID this October. Because of Scentsy, I have been able to vacation with some of my closest friends; most of them friends that we wouldn't get to see otherwise since we’re all stationed in different areas of the United States now. 

Now, the best part of this experience, I’m getting to witness my team members being blessed by Scentsy. Scentsy has brought new life-long friends into our lives and has been such a blessing for our family, not only financially but it has also given us opportunities we wouldn't have had otherwise.

Scentsy's fundamental goal is to keep it simple. We strive to offer the best products at the best price, that are simple and easy to use! This innovative design incorporates the best part of a candle with out the hassle or the worry of the flame.

This simple design includes three different parts: the base, the light bulb and the lid. By screwing in the light bulb and plugging the warmer in, you get the warm glow of a candle with out the danger of fire. The wax is specially formulated to melt, not burn, with this low watt light bulb. By melting the wax it allows the aroma to be slowly released into the air. This also allows the scent to last longer than traditional wicked candles.

Simply place one or more cubes (depending on how strong you want the scent) into the lid, almost immediately it will begin melting and you will smell the aroma you have chosen.

Each cube lasts approximately 18 hours, the entire bar lasts between 60 and 80 hours. Once the scent has been completely disseminated, the wax will remain. This is because we melt the wax and not burn it, the wax will never fully evaporate.

So how do I get rid of the wax? Easy! You can do it one of three ways:

1: Turn off the warmer and let the wax harden, then simply pop the wax out with a plastic knife.

2: Simply dump the wax in a trash receptacle

3: Use a paper towel to soak up the melted wax in the lid. Then simply throw away the paper towel.
